Intriguing, dark, sweet, sensual. A chocolate love affair, it is. It was one thing to hear this chocolate maker talk about truffles. Enchanting enough. But it was a totally different experience to see her do it. It was like watching someone sing, or dance, or play – so engrossed and captivated in her own world and passion.

This is right here in Cebu City (Philippines) with the chocolate artisan Raquel T. Choa, founder of The Chocolate Chamber and Ralfe Gourmet. I enjoyed the book and movie Chocolat (Joanne Harris) some years ago. But I need not look far anymore. Here’s one right here at home.
